Went and took a look. It's as good as it was supposed to be. Date code indicates the tires are original which means it cant have been beat too hard. Everything works perfectly, drives perfect. As to be expected on a 21K mile car. Garaged kept its whole life. Turns out it does have a sun roof meaning it has every option that was possible that I'm aware of. Oh and it has an Airraid intake and some custom floor mats and trunk liner...

Such a flash back in time. Felt so good to be back in a car so familiar and throwing gears again.

Anyway.

Calling the credit union tomorrow. Let's see where we go from here...

original tires on a 13 with 21k..... if that doesnt scream babied, i dont know what does. Only thing that I dont like is that its black. I love black but absolutely hate the upkeep. You look the wrong way at it, it gets dirty and swirls the paint.

I thought I drove mine easy and my rears were done at 8k

I'm not committed. There is a 2011 Corvette 2LT Grand Sport in Torch Red nearby I'd like to look at as well. 24K on the clock.

I want a cool car again, but I'm not in a hurry to buy the first one I find.

Black car has two problems. Sunroof has NO head room and its black. I love it otherwise. But. I like flashy admittedly and my orange car was well - conspicuous lol. I've never driven a C6 so may as well check it out. Looking is free.

C6s are pretty nice. Christian has a 2011 Grand Sport that’s heavily modified. Drives really well

Oh it drove great. Targa top is noisy (rattles and pops constantl). Found the fix for that online. Very nice car but I'm not seeing $30K for an 8 year old car right now. It's just a little too impractical for my other driver for my tastes. Love it though otherwise...

Today or tomorrow I'm going to go look at a 2015 2SS/RS. Its silver. Fully loaded other than NPP exhaust. 28K miles, auto car. It's a pretty plain but makes a good canvas for personalization.

If I get another car I will go ahead and look into Camaro Fest. 4 weeks vacation to use per year so I may make the ride...

I don't know if I'd get another fifth gen, maybe it's because Ive had mine so long. If I get a 6th gen it would have to be a 16-18 SS. But it's looking pretty much looking like a 7th gen for me if I like it, if not I'll prolly just get a Vette in the distant future.

I like 6th gen a lot but it's a budget thing for me. I want a fully loaded car, not a 'base' like my last two. I'm not trading in anything this time so I just have to buy what I can get with a cash down payment and notes. I could buy a 2016-18 1SS but I dont want another cloth seat no option car. I'm very familiar with the 5th gens and was extremely happy with both of them so getting a 3rd wont be bad.
