Performance Dual Mode Exhaust Worth it?
Getting close to putting in an order and I'm debating if I should fork over the $ to add NPP Performance exhaust. What do you guys think?

How loud do you like your cars? If not too loud, NPP is perfect. Plus, doesn't drone when you add headers.

I would not get it again....after roaring around town and impressing my friends that I had a loud car, I switched to tour and likek it much more. I can go faster without attracting attention. Besides, I heard the stock exhaust and it's nice.....I do like the 4 in tips though....

We all have diff levels of what we think is music...I just don't equate how nice or fast a car is by an enhanced exhaust.

Nor do I, and I never said I did for the record. But, I do like the NPP very much, especially when you consider how obnoxious other systems can become with power adders.

I don't dislike NPP, just would not buy it again and would look for a way to splice on the 4in tips.....all my mods are appearance oriented....

If you're a gear head or just like stepping into at times, you would rather have the NPP. I really like the rumble of the open pipes and together with the intake, they sound great.
If you drive 50 in a 55, then you need to stick with the softer sound... |

wow.....I don't understand why people take things personal around here. I liked Corvette7 a lot, and have only seen one attack in 6 months, but Glen...........all he said was people who drive 50 in a 55.....haven't we all done that once in a while? Come on it's almost Christmas-

I don't think it came out the way I meant it, wasn't sterotyping anyone. Just saying people that cruise don't normally want the NPP exhaust and it's an option for guys that like a corvette for what it is. Ok, maybe I was.. ;-) I just sold my race car last year and I've been known to ride a Pro Stock motorcylce in the past. I guess I like the NPP exhaust..
Actually my post was to the OP, not anything you posted, he asked the question. |

guys, lets get back on track. I'm still not convinced I should opt for the Performance Exhaust for the additional $1195. Seems the only benefit would be a throatier sound and an additional 5 HP. Anyone with a stock exhaust chime in?
