Question difference between v6 and v8 models

I have been trying to understand why a front air splitter cannot be installed on a v6 model....
i found an aftermarket splitter that would only fit the SS facia...

can anyone out there explain why this is so....

Thanks.

if you look at the front of a V6 and a V8 model, straight on, side by side, they are a different. that is why a splitter for V8 won't fit a V6......do a search here, there is a company that is in teh process now making one for teh V6, and has even posted up some pictures of the fit up of the prototype.

^ this. The Camaro isn't even a year old yet so the aftermarket is still catching up to the demand for parts. In another year I'm sure there will be a plethora of options for both the LTs and SSs

just look at the bottom front of your car and look at pictures of SS and the difference will become very obvious
