Not a fan of Chrome.....

I really have a hate-on for chrome on new vehicles. Way to 70ish for me. She looks so much better - there is now a definite 'them' going on now ----- Black on Crush!

Got most of it removed except for the buttons on the door handles and the chrome Flow-Tie. Not sure how to deal with that guy - not sure I want to pull the front of the car apart. I could buy another grill so I have the original piece available. Maybe next year I'll tackle that bastard.

Thanks to Emblem-Pro's. They have fantastic customer service and the product is very good. Not OEM, but very good.

Anyways....as everyone says - "it didn't happen without pictures"!

So here they are

I want to do this to my Black ZL1, just wondering if all the black emblems would get lost with in the rest of the car, if that makes sense.

Mmmmm? Hard to say on a black vehicle. Emblem Pros have a finish called Titanium Black. It's like a black chrome finish. This is what I used on the heat extractor.

My old man was a Cadillac Guy. We are talking 70s-80s...…..big, long, chrome filled Caddys. Me being the oldest, guess what job I had to do, when he washed them. Chrome back in those days, is not like the Chrome of today. Oh no!!!!!!
So I am with you......I don't like Chrome, thanks Dad!
Little bling-bling things I don't mine, but most of it, no thanks.

I think it would, I would go with another color to get some pop out of them.

I don't mind the little chrome outside. I hate the little chrome inside. Especially the one on the gauge cluster.

Between 1130 and about 230, the sunlight hits it perfectly and sends a beam of light right into your eyes. Even with polarized sunglasses, it is annoying!
