Wow. If this is to be believed, this is amazing.

Not to brag, but I predicted the car would be around 34k well optioned. Amazing.

I'm sure plenty of people are going to love this news.

What's kind of a shame about these prices as well is, you can get a used '06 GTO, with IRS and about the same HP for thousands less. Granted, it doesn't look as good as the Camaro IMHO, but it's still a VERY similar car...

Very very dissappointed that I cannot even option up to get leather seats on my 1SS. I know a lot of you will just say I am bitching but I am graduating college in March and have money saved up for it, but I cannot spend the extra 4k to get the 2SS and therefore will have to forgo the Camaro for now, so sad.

Kinda irrelevant really. In 2 years you'll be able to buy a 2010 Camaro for thousands less than MSRP used.

Shhh Dont Tell... Turtle Dont Be Cheatin... LOL

well My Price Guess was TOO far off.. I Think i was off by 1-2k.. But I Will Concede I Was HOPING the SS would start around 28-29k. but no biggie for 31k.. that should put my SS/RS around 33k or so.. At Anypoint I Still Have To Wait a bit,, Bills Are Killing My Funding Right now..

I just hope you arent like the majority of people ive seen on here over the last few months leading up to today, spouting "Im going to get the SS/RS with full options and whatnot no matter what the price" only to back down when pricing comes out and a fully loaded 422 horsepower V-8 with damn good gas mileage comes out for a small bit over 30k....

give me a break.

All I wanted was a 1SS with leather and a short throw, but like I said, disappointed that I can't get the 2SS because of a funds shortage.

Can anyone tell me how GM Employee Pricing works? A guy I go to the gym with told me this morning that he'd get that for me when I was ready to order one of these. He works at a GM plant.

What's the discount amount?

Everything came in at about 3k-4k over what I was expecting. Don't know if I can swing the 2LT now, with the options I want. I'll have to do some serious thinking and saving over the next year...

There isn't a snowball's chance in "you know what" that they'll give GME or GMS on these cars for a while, IMO...
