I AM. 2SS/RS with options, I expect to hit around $38,750 give or take a couple hundred. I was actually expecting to pay closer to $40,000. As a true Camaro enthusiast who's been waiting for this a long time, I'm all over it. Waiting on my salesman to call right now so I can put my order in. I will Drive my new Camaro proudly and smile at all the people staring at a beautiful car. I doubt I will ever complain about the price. Have you actually looked at the list of standard equipment?

not to mention... we've known about this car for over 2 years now... if you were waiting to start saving for it until now, im sorry, but thats your loss.

part of the reason the economy is going to crap is because of all the people who dont save up to buy things and apply for credit to pay off over time. while its great to have low payments and all that, its even better to put a larger sum for a down payment to reduce the overall amount that you owe.

By the time these cars are available and you fill out the credit app for taking actual delivery after Feb, the credit "freeze" will be over; it's starting to flow a LITTLE better even today.

Unless you're adding on the ground effects package, headers, exhaust, etc. you will NOT approach $40k. My pre-order was placed this morning:

2SS->34,180.00
RS-> 1,200.00
Stripe pkg->395.00

Total-> 35775.00

Oh, I added Red Jewel for 295.00

I suppose an SS2/RS at 36 isnt bad, I was kinda hoping for right at 35 due to taxes pushing us around 39, but overall, not bad....not bad at all....this takes a lil bit of the sting away from having no imperial blue...

Forget about that. You need to add %20 more to get the Canadian price.
Try around $C27,500.
I'll be very surprised if it is less than that.

Same back at ya. People here should know that the "Preliminary Order Detail" contains only your choices and confirmation number. THERE ARE NO PRICES ON THE SHEET YOU GET. That comes later when the order is actually dropped (December?).
