I've been having this same issue for a while now. It started about a month after I got my car lowered and its still doing it even after getting an alignment.

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not, BUT, yeah mine drives straight now. We will see how long that lasts.

Like I said, It may have something to do with the electronic power steering then. I am sure this will not solve everyone's problems but the more information the better.

What dealer did you take your care too. I'm currently trying to get Koons at Tyson Corner to take care of mine. I talked with someone in their service department that acknowledge the service bulletin, but then refered me to making an appointment only to get the ?? we will need to test drive it to see if it reoccurs, we don't see a service bulletin on your car, back to ground zero. At this point I don't have allot of confidence they won't just give me the run around. Did the update fix ur issue?

Not sarcastic, just noting mine drives great. I think the alignment from the factory is a hit or miss thing. On the grooved pavment it hunts but that is as much due to tires than anything. Glad it was only the alignment for you...

Pardon the Gen 5 owner chiming in. This was a thing with the original summer tires on my 2010 2SS. When those wore out I replaced them with less sticky all-season tires and the problem went away.

There certainly wasn't an alignment problem, since my summer tires lasted 50,000 miles without side to side rotation.

I hate Koons they're schemers. Lol not surprised. I've been all over VA, BEST dealership was in Warrenton where I bought my car from, but moved down south couple hours so it would be too far for you, but you're not all that far from Warrenton, if you go that way say Hi to Ben in sales for me! Multiple dealers have given me the run around on EVERYTHING and over time I WAS RIGHT ON IT ALL, but yea it really did. I let go of the wheel on the interstate and it stayed straight for a mile or something like that and don't really notice the HARD pull to the left I was getting which was getting worse and worse. My car was aligned a bunch of times and everything was always good so that wasn't the issue. Finally think I have all my dozens of issues fixed; only took 1.5 years and a bunch of frustration when you pay top dollar for something that should work out the gate, but that's what I get for being the second batch made haha no regrets thought.

my 2017 has this happen once. Pulled to the left all of the sudden. Tires were fine. I ended up changing the drive mode from Sport to Tour and back to Sport and the issue immediately went away. I think there could be a glitch in the system that allows the steering rack to tighten up when not aligned perfectly? This is an assumption of course but it makes sense. It only happened to me once and never came back.

Did the Dealer in Warrenton update the steering module and recalibrate the sensors? If so can you give me the service guys name so I can set something up with him? I don't blame you on Tysons. I bought the car there because they were the only dealer around that had what I wanted. I've seen the way some of their service guys hot rod people's cars, so not fond of the place either.

Mine is more like the power steering pump just turned off for a second, then back on. Extremely random, tired all modes, even rebooted the ECM by pulling the fuse's with no luck. Rumor has it's a software glitch, in some cars.

One thing on the bulletin that seems to be happening is the main power connector at the rack is not seated, or a single terminal can back out of the plastic connector.

Okay so, still not fixed. Alignment didn't fix it AND they seated my steering wheel off center. I will be going to another dealership next week to get it fixed (i hope).

Hey guys I'm new to the forums this will be my first post but as i was reading some of these threads the other day before i was accepted I noticed this one and thought this info would be useful. I am a GM technician and have seen this issue on one other 6th gen personally but not mine. What I found after having an intermittent stabilitrac light and a pull to the left or right randomly was that the power steering rack fasteners have completely loosened. The design is a through bolt going vertically with a nut on top. In this particular situation the nut was missing on the left side and the right side was just loose. This may not be your fix but i would recommend checking to make sure. With the design of the subframe, the through bolts can't fully come out but it will cause the rack to shift during turning and cause a pull/steering wheel off center. Like I said may not fix your problem but something to look for.
