Yep, they've specced the entire build out. The A10 rebuild they don't do in house. I forget then name of the company but its a complete overhaul. New clutches, etc.


The port injection is of course using the too high psi plates, injectors etc. I believe they will modify my low side system a bit. I already have a holley 100gph low side. Full long block is built and tested/dynoed by LME. Cam specs I will go over with them after as i want to be able to drive it on the street.


I honestly really don't need the 1800hp block, but it is the best long block LME has for the ltx and has pretty much the best crank/rods etc. I figure if i am going to spend the money, just do it right just in case. Also in my opinion i think they are one of the best LTx engine builders out there.


Ill keep everyone updated. I'm just not sure if this is something i want to do now as summer approaches or wait until fall.

Yeah they've been doing all my works for a few years now.

Over the top build, Mike! I PMed you a few weeks ago to inquire about your gen2 Gesi cats. If they can take the heat from this build, they should last forever on my comparatively puny 720ish whp motor. Good luck on the new build and don't be shy about posting pics. If there has ever been a good candidate for a build thread, this is certainly it!

Small as in size. (Compared to some bigger shop names) They do have the new space on other side now which is nice.

I'm currently catless. I ended up taking off my Kooks green cats. After inspecting them after being on for 4K miles, they weren't melted but I could see a little of the mesh inside that looked like it was starting to bend. I doubt it was affecting performance yet, but I figured it was safer to take them off for now. I would like to eventually move to the GESI cats you're running, just hard to swallow the cost for something that gains me no power at all over catless.

Yep, this is exactly how it starts. Once the material gets pushed in it will continue to get worse.


I wanted cats for 2 reasons:


1. Cant stand smell of raw fuel (cammed even worse)
2. Noise level was insane with no cats and resonators, NPP. Noise was very loud.


I'm at 850 with E and so far these cats look new.

No question, the smell is worse and that's the main reason for considering the GESI cats that you have.

The THP port injection plates work great, no concerns at all. What are you doing for the low side?

Yeah you might need a little more than that. We are at about ~70% utilized on my Fore Triple which is 3 - 125 gph pumps. I am running 100% Ignite red as well.
