Is there NO shame?
You would expect the woman to not be able to do enough for the family she "inadvetantly" tore apart, not turn around and now TAKE from them!! |

I can't believe this is in Canada. This is pure USA (Florida, specifically) litigious miscarriage- the plaintiff lawyer should be disbarred, tarred and feathered.
The plaintiff herself should be given life in prison for such a flippant lawsuit- not to mention killing the boy due to personal negligence. Last edited by murfdog2305; 04-28-2014 at 08:30 AM. Reason: Addendum. |

I know someone who's wife killed two kids on bikes driving home from work one evening. It was dark and she was driving on a highway. The kids didn't have any lights on their bikes and where as high as a kite. She killed them going at 50 MPH. She now is so messed up she can't even drive or go to work anymore. I actually feel bad for her.
Something like this could happen to anyone of us.

Well for one thing this women is not suing the victims families . She doesn't want to relive what happened in court. She is trying her best to move on with what happened.

There is a definite difference between "suing" and "successfully sued". These stories really get your blood boiling, but the truth of the matter is that a lot of this crap is tossed right out.

Just to add to the anger..... her husband is a cop, that just happened to be following her at the time of the accident.
She was hustled out of there before any breathalyser or testing was done, hummmmm, wonder way ??

time line would help shed some light on the situation. Did she decide to file suit after they filled suit on her for there second son committing suicide from Emotional Distress? She is responsible for what happened that night but trying to go after her for emotional stress after the fact may have just caused her to file a counter suit for emotion distress. its a terrible situation and will only result in a terrible outcome. Kids out riding there bike's at night in the rain that just irresponsible and dangerous. Her speeding on a back road on dark wet night when its very difficult to see is irresponsible and dangerous. No one was doing the smart prudent thing that night and now a lot of people's lives are changed for the worse because of it.
