Josh ,how exactly could I save $500.00 - $800.00 on TSP headers over the $675..25 delivered I paid for my Stainless Power 1 7/8 headers with HF cats that fit and work flawlessly without any modification ? There are quality headers that are the same price that need nothing . Not trying to break balls ,but lets keep it real . Cheap Chinese headers vs cheap Chinese headers .

It's all relative to dollars spent, sir. I agree that having to massage a part to fit can be an inconvenience, but when you look at it in terms of saving $500-800 over the competition it suddenly becomes a much smaller inconvenience. Do not get me wrong. American Racing and Kooks make a FANTASTIC product, works of art really. But not everyone has the budget to spend $1000 on a set of headers and then pay a shop labor / tuning for install. That's where the TSP's fit into the market, and can enable those folks to still have their cake & eat it too while staying within their budget.

And we're talking about an extra 10 minutes of work, tops. I take a small propane torch to heat up the area, put a little crater in that particular primary with a ball peen hammer, and it's done. Header goes in, everybody is happy.

I hold no allegiance to any header manufacturer but we do try to be considerate of our customers budgets and find the best options possible to fit within those means. The TSP headers do that well for the 5th gen cars.

It seems that you're pretty convinced you made the right decision to go with SW, and that's good for you. I'm not trying to convince you otherwise. Nor am I going to sit and debate how much better or worse these headers are than each other. My price point was based on some of the more expensive American made headers.

I simply stated that TSP's are excellent for the money and only require very minor modification for installation. Not the massive "hammer" modifications that you implied.

Are they a better deal than the SW? I think so. But of course that's my opinion, and opinions vary.

And only require modifying in some cases. Not required on my set or my car.

Never used the phrase Massive hammer to fit . If you have to hammer the tube to make them fit it is hammer to fit. And RIF , Stainless Works is not Stainless Power ,they are lot less money and made in China for Stainless Works to their design and spec ,then packaged and inspected at the SW plant in Ohio B4 they are shipped to the customer. IMHO this is a QC issue with TSP headers ,some fit some don't .

TSP headers do not require any modifications with any "hammer" to fit. In fact the brand new version of the TSP headers are now in stock with tweaks to fit the electric steering cars better.
