Z/28 Jack Points

I'm about to do the first oil change on the Z and I just realized that the jack points that I use on my SS are covered by plastic. How is everyone jacking up the car?

There are two jack points on each side that are the pinch weld type. If you look you can see them where the areo is molded to expose the jack points. You will need a pinch weld adapter for your jack though, and a very low profile jack.
I think the manual shows a diagram, not sure.

There isn't anything in the manual and I can't really see what you're talking about. I'll just check it out again tomorrow. Is there any way to jack it from the sides and squeeze the stands under it?

Besides the pinch weld jack points, here's something from the factory that goes into more detail:

That's perfect, thank you!

Also, does anyone know if the oil change process is the same as C6 Z06's dry sump system?

oil change is the same as a C6 Z06. It has two drain plugs in the pan which are clearly marked with an arrow to make sure both plugs are removed. The plug in the normal position only drains about 1-2 quarts. The front plug drains the rest and be prepared for 8-9 quarts from the front plug which obviously drains the tank.

Dumb question guys, the right drain plug is directly above the aero and the frame. How am I supposed to drown it without oil going everywhere?

take the belly pan off...oil still goes everywhere. There is a solid cross brace directly under the rear drain plug.

Yeah I noticed. I crammed a funnel in there and that minimized it
