I lost 1 the same day i installed. But I'm sure it was my fault from not tightening properly. Blue loctite never crossed my mind, nor replacing the proved bolts which was kind uncomfortable to tighten with the little tool they provided. All other 3 have held on for a year already.

Mine is still on after a year. No blue loctite. Just made sure that i tighten them down like crazy. I'll probably go back through with blue loctite.

I was thinking the same thing. I tightened the heck out of them but I probably should throw some loctite in there too just to be sure.

Here is my personal experience on this, Yes, it is true these things become loose overtime! I was about to lose one of those lift pads but the other screw kept it holding nicely so I was lucky and took sometime to invest on those pads to realize where I went wrong. others on the forum were not lucky as seen from the comments on the topic and I don't blame you. I installed the lift pads on the end of May 2018 for those wondering how much it held up.

I have a few tips to share based on my experience:

1- Always keep the allan key in your glove box it is vital that you do it anything can happen keep it for emergency sake!

2- When you will install those pads they are actually installed incorrectly? Now you're gonna ask why or tell me that I'm crazy? The lift pads need to cover the entire pinch weld even the top part of it with no gaps or spaces (To simplify the top part of the lift pad which is the flat surface needs to be perfectly aligned towards the roof of the pinch weld which is on top of the pinch weld leaving no airspace on top) so how to do that?

You will need to regularly install those lift pads at first per the product instructions. Tighten everything hard as you can so they don't fall off while driving, when the car is being lifted by service on the lift the bolts will somewhat get a bit loose this is normal again due to pressure, the pads will automatically adjust due to the force being implied on the lift pads by the car lift so the bolts are still holding on nicely.

After your car is being serviced, retighten all the bolts properly you will notice that those gaps are gone. Explanation:The Pressure by the lift when the car is lifted allows that adjustment on all 4 sides since the top of the lift pad will stick to the roof leaving no gaps

3- Regularly check the lift points after each service by re-tightening the 8 bolts, there is no point of having a blue loctite on those they are not meant to have those, pressure needs to be distributed evenly at first by lift then retighten wherever necessary. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use blue loctite the idea isn't locking at first its adjustment then locking.
