How do you really replace your cabin air filter?
Hey Guys,
All the tutorials show that we have to use a screw driver againt the glove box thus causing scuff marks. I tried to use the DIY way by using the screw to get the hinges off the glove box and ended up with lots scratches and scuff marks around the glove box area and it really feels bad. Tried going through the service manual and ended up going nowhere. Why is it that GM made it soo difficult to access the cabin filter as compared to the 5th gen models. I personally find it soo stupid off them to make it this difficult even japanese cars don't have that difficulty around the glove box. |

I haven’t had to replace the cabin filter in my before but in the past I have used a shop towel or old T-shirt between the glove box and screwdriver/detail tool to protect the plastic.
