Small suspension upgrades

I just purchased BMR lowering springs 1.25 drop for my 2011 SS. As far as shocks and struts go, should I replace with new stock ones, 1LE setup or Koni orange?

1LE or Bilstein B6, I have 1LE and they are stiff compared to SS shocks they control spring oscillation very quickly.

That is what I was thinking.

We are big fans of the Bilstien B6 Inverted Mono Tube Kit that comes complete with internal bumpstops. They are a HUGE improvement over the SS or 1LE. You can find them in our online store by clicking the link below. The B6s and BMR lowering coils are a GREAT combination.

Spend the money for the B6 tubes. I have the BMR -1.25 springs with the B6's, love the set up. The 1le should have came from the factory with the B6's. They are the same stiffness as the 1le tubes but soak up road imperfections 75% better. They also don't cavitate like the stock 1le tubes do when pushed hard on rough roads/surfaces. I bought mine from Pete along with his rear sway, caster locks, billet radius arm bushings, and Z28 RUCA bushings. Can't be more pleased with his recommendations and service.

The 1LE rear monotubes are a huge plus over the SS rears. The front 1LE twin tubes are better than the SS, but not as much of a gain as the rears. The B6 inverted monotubes with internal bumpstops are so much better...

I was just browsing and debating 1LE vs bilstein, glad I found this.

The biggest bang for your buck suspension wise is a good alignment. I love BSing about alignment specs, don't forget to keep the front toed in just a bit.

I've heard lots of good things about the bilsteins, and while you're in there, I'd do radius rod bushing inserts up front. Firmed up the steering a but in my car on-center, which is nice.
