Just pull the cables.... LOL then trickle charge before you plan on using it again. And never leave batteries laying around on concrete..... IMO

Does your storage unit have an overhead light? (most do).
If so, just do What I did years ago. At your local home improvement store, you should be able to buy a light bulb socket adapter that has a outlet in it's side.
unscrew the lightbulb, screw in the adapter, then screw the lightbulb back into the adapter.

You now have an outlet you can plug a battery tender into.

Nope no lights in the storage unit. Only outside for exterior lighting.

That's the worst thing you can do to your car. Let it sit unless your going to
take it out and drive it for a half hour or so. A master mechanic once told be
starting a cold engine puts more wear and tear on it than hundreds of miles
of normal driving. Common sense, think about it.

I agree, if it’s not going to get up to operating temperature and stay there for a hour you’re never going to get rid of any condensation in the motor. Also letting any modern vehicle sit and idle will not charge the battery up, your better off disconnecting the battery and leaving it in if you can’t put a trickle charger on it.

While it is true that starting a COLD engine puts wear on the engine internals, I have been doing this for 35+ years with all of my ICE & have never had a problem. Since it is in a heated garage, its not like sitting outside @ 10 degrees above zero or colder.
