Baker engineering in Nunica by grand rapids. BEST tuner in the game in michigan in my opinion.

Hes tuned my cars in the past and extremely well known in the area for LS platform style cars.

TJ is a mad genius when it comes to tuning my ws6 had been tuned by livernois and a mail order tune and i took it up to him after being unhappy with both and he got her chopping just right running beautiful. I would NEVER take my car to ANYONE else but him.

Just my 2 cents though.

I haven't changed the plugs and wires since I had the car. I only had the car since 2018. And yes it was the spark plug wires they mentioned.

Livernois is supposed the bees knees, but when i spoke to them about having work done it was very dismissive and extremely over priced. Also they lock their tunes which I don't love.

After I did my LSA conversion i took the car to Lidio at Alternative Auto Performance in Chesterfield for the tune. They are mainly a ford / dodge shop, but he knows his stuff.

That being said.....if it was me......I'd save more money and drop it off at a shop for a cam as well. If you're gonna pay $600 for a tune might as well make it worth while. Headers and an intake aren't going to net you a lot of power.

TLR.....don't trust vector......Livernois is for the rich people........
Yea livernois is expensive and their communication is horrible. It took them 3 or 4 days just to give me a quote. Lidio gave me the best quote so far for headers install and a tune. And I'm new to modding cars so I want to take it slow lol. Although Lidio does mostly ford and dodge is he pretty good with Chevy?

When i started I did headers, intake and cam.......i wish i woulda went straight to a blower.

Just remember that each time you make a change you'll need a new tune. If you go with Lidio he'll cut you a deal on "retunes".

Either way just trying to get you to think......Don't spend $500 in parts and $650 on a tune. Make spending money on the tune worth it.
