Here is what you need to ask. What is the lift for? If you want a lift for storage or minor maintenance, a 4 post is the best option. If you want to have easy access to removing tires / suspension or pulling a motor out I would get the 2 post. They serve different purposes.
Oil Change - 4 post Changing struts - 2 post storage - 4 post changing exhaust - 2 post You can also get both. The 2 post is portable and you can store it in front of the 4 post when not in use.
