Camaro SS 1LE feels sluggish
I have a new 2018 Camaro 2SS, 1LE. I bought it new in December and it just now has 700 miles on it. I dont drive it very much except on weekends. I usually put it in "sport mode" but my car seems sluggish and I feel like I really have to force it run like the other Camaro's ive had. Is this a issue with 1LE's, or can it be sluggish because of the current setting I have it in "Sport"?

doesnt seem right.
when you have more miles on it, put it in track and ptm mode and do a 0 to 60 run on timer. did you have dealer put the performance intake (CAI) in? if so, there was another member who's dealer didn't flash ECM correctly and he was down like 70 hp.

Have you compared it with another gen6 SS? There's no difference in the engine calibration with the 1LE.
Are there are any leaks, modifications, CELs or other warnings on the instrument cluster?

here's the thread with bad ECM flash. post 108 is the final solution.

I would check your preferences in the menu and make sure your not on default Ice and snow mode. That's what it sound like. Snow and Ice mode really detune it.

Long gear ratios, you really need it in the right gear in this car

Yeah I was also wondering if the 1LE's had a different rear gear than the standard SS's...

Just a thought: Make sure it's not in "Teen Driver Mode." Info on how to check should be in the owners manual.

Put a nice fat cam in it, I promise it won’t be sluggish anymore....

either teen mode or someone put 87 octane in it. takes awhile to get it back to the 93 octane table. the tranys have the same ratios in the 1le as the SS. pull fuses F57 F66 and F67. those are the ECU fuses. it will reset the car to the high octane table as long as you have 93 in it.

Turn the nannies off and try it. Maybe they are kicking on without you noticing. I can get my T/C light to flash at 60mph. This A8 has stupid power on the low end.

Stupid west coast we only have 91 here. Any idea how much of a hit that is over 93?
