Paint code for Factory Ground Affects?

I have a 2010 2SS Inferno Orange with Factory Ground affects. I have did some searches. I also called the dealership with my Vin #. I cant seem to figure out what the factory color on the ground affects /splitter is? Its some sort of Charcoal gray or something. Do any of you know what the color is? OR what would match it? Thanks in Advance.

Are you sure it's painted? and not just the dark grey color of the plastic itself?

The factory ground effects are not painted. It’s just raw plastic with some metal flake in it.

Haha I updated my post right as you commented that. There’s no need for a pic anymore. I found the info.

It's on the RPO sticker under the mat on the left side of your trunk.

Hmm... I stand corrected. I thought everything on the interwebs was true!

If the GFX were ordered from the factory they would be painted the color of your Camaro.

What are you saying its Just clear coated? You can clearly see a difference where the spliter and skirts have scratches, I sanded some of the scratches down and there is an obvious color difference. The raw plastic is darker (black) - the finished plastic looks sorta charcoal gray or something.

I ask because the ground effects and front splitter on my 2013 ZL1 are just dark grey plastic with no paint on them at all.

Is it possible that the plastic itself is darker grey, but the 'weathered/faded' surface is a bit lighter.

There are many products on the market designed to restore the plastic parts back to there original 'black/dark gey' color.

'back to Black' is once such product.
