Wash>Clay>Polish> then last step product..(Wax,Sealant,ETC.) I highly recommend Carpro Reload as the last step product, it is excellent. Car pro hydro2 is also great stuff, although in my experience it does not last as long as reload. Much longer lasting than wax and just as good looking.

Forget adding wax on top of sealant. Sealant will do it alone, if you're just using it as a daily driver and not going to Shows.. Try and get through my documents that are in my signature, they are written for people who are brand new detailing, And don't want to spend all weekend doing it… Read them in order , they're numbered…
Also a huge fan of RELOAD as the final step, or the new blackfire SI02 spray. |

Go here for more detailed info, or we’ll have another 500-reply thread with 500 different opinions: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=252.
In the meantime, go to www.griotsgarage.com and read about the process. Even if you don’t use their products, there’s a wealth of good information there. |

I’ll tell you this much.. I have tried dozens of sealants and waxes etc. and the si02 sealants, all work very, very well. Some good ones are CarPro reload, blackfire Si02, among others. I really don’t think you can beat them all things considered. Just my .02

I never tried topcoat but I tried HydroSilex and I am pretty impressed with it so far. It made the paint super smooth to the touch and when wiping the car down. Water definitely beads instantly and all the rubber and most bugs and grim is off the car with just a spray down. I still two bucket wash it. I did two coats on every part of the car. Not going to add anymore yet, going to see how long it lasts. I have washed the car 4 times since applying it and it still preforms like the first wash. My buddy also put it on his mustang and he is having similar results. He only did one coat and it is holding up just as well.

I am also a fan of Reload, but before applying, hit the car with Eraser. This removes any oils and residues left behind by the polishing process allowing the sealant to stick.

Except if you polish with Carpro essence… Leave that on , but buff off, it because it bonds to the reload.

Hydro silex (and f11) is another one of those Facebook products that has popped up over there, but there are things that are far better .....read about 11 pages worth of responses here
