No Oil Pressure Warning Light

Oil pump right? What upgrades are there for oil pump, or something else that it would make sense to do if I am in there suggestions.

Also, would driving it to a shop be too much? I don’t want a seized engine.

So it has zero pressure? Check the oil pressure sensor at the back of the valley cover. It will be behind the supercharger. If its reading zero it could be the sensor. If it was working I'd imagine you would have some pressure.

I will check that, good point. The dash says 0.0 bars, and the gauge didn’t move.

DO NOT drive it if it’s got an oil pressure light on. Just not worth the risk.

I wouldn't be even starting it unless you have a mechanical gauge installed in the place of the sensor ready to shut it off if don't see any pressure. If you don't want to test it yourself then I would have it towed to a shop. Like one said it's not worth the risk.

If you're still driving the car with zero oil pressure, STOP! If it is a sensor then you've been extra careful for nothing. If it is a pump, you may save the engine.

Had a "check engine" light come on a few weeks ago. No other warning lights. Then noticed the oil pressure on the center gauges was flat. It was oil pump sensor that needed replaced.

If you truly have no oil pressure your lifters will be very noisy-don't drive it. Chances are its probably just the sensor or wiring problem.

Dog bone instead of timing chain tensioner. Katech C5R timing chain. Verify oil pump is bad. If so, Melling 10296.

Whats a tow worth? a couple hundred at most.

Your engine is worth 5-7k to replace

I know what my choice would be.

I have a shop looking at it Thursday. He thinks it is the sensor. I will post an update.
