Don't see what this has to do with the thread but a least it's a great looking car.

Now you only need to put some white stripes on there....oh...I would also recommend a HID setup. You'll love it over the stock halogens.

Muffler delete doesnt lose you gas mileage or lose power.. it may not gain much of anything but its not going to lose.. unless you used garden hose to the tips. People "claim" they lost MPG but they just put their foot in it more now so they can hear it.. thats all.

With the mufflers gone, the cats and resonators (which are the real restrictions) are still creating back-pressure.

Before you know it everyone is going to be doing the "back to stock" mod because they "heard" that the stock trash-can mufflers make more power than a muffler delete.

With the mufflers and resonators gone, along with a Vararam Intake and a mild tune, I am breaking the 400hp mark just barely.. No headers, no cam, just straight pipe in and out.. Decel pop is annoying.. to my neighbors, not to me..

LOL

There is no real power gained or lost from removing the muffler on a stock car. You didnt lose torque because of decreased back pressure. Back pressure was a big thing 40 years ago with ineficient engines, today removing restriction makes more power, to a point. There are a crap load of LSx guys that have stock engines with longtubes, no cats and high flow exhaust and they make more power and torque, not less.

BULL CACKA...I have tested a cutout on everything since 1997 and the cars always picked up...Now if u had no cats and big pipe with no mufflers it might loose power and some et/mph....but takin off just a set of muffs will NOT lose ET..Its was the weather pal and the cars temps...Check the DA from the 1st time to this last time and u will see the weather killed et/mph...NOT THE DELETE PIPES

Just muffler delete no..you won't loose power or MPG's. Now with LT's no cats and this you will loose some low end torque because NOW you've lost a little back pressure.
