5k for mods, suggestions?

Well the time has come to let things loose.
Currently the car has a rotofab intake and a flowmaster axleback, nothing else!
1) car will be used mostly for street and a Blast or two down the drag strip, maybe 1 Track day a year.
2) fully aware of the oil pump issue with the cars ( wish for a real fix)
3) I am concerned with to much heat being introduced into the system due to pully only .
4) I would like to keep the car as “road race race capable “ as possible, if possible.
5) I will not be doing any of the work myself. ( except for ordering some parts)
6) 93 only ( no meth or E 85)

My wish list thoughts for the money,
1) cat less headers ( kooks or arh)
2) ported blower ( Kong)
3) catch can ( mm or elite)
4) 103 throttle body
5) expansion tank
6) blower pully 2.30 or 9.15 under drive pully.

Thoughts, experiences, suggestions, welcome and appreciated!

Forgot to mention a tune. It’s a given,

Imo, you are on the right path. imo, 2" headers, ported blower and pulley (2.3 or 1 step lower since you will have the blower ported anyway) and 103 TB (again, since you are getting the blower ported).

Then as you also have, catch can and expansion tank.

Edit: and yes, the tune.

After that, I'd be putting $ away for heat exchangers and suspension.

sounds like a good list for the $. Minimal pulley change (upper griptech) with the ported blower (because of possible road course use), headers, tune, intercooler reservoir & install. 93 octane and no fuel issues with that hp level so no need for low side pump (another $1K).

Ive been toying with the idea of doing a cam and replacing oil pump at same time. But I’m not really wanting to do this round of work lol. So just that alone would eat up the 5k budget almost...oh man that sound though

I have gone in a different path altogether with my ZL1. This is one of the first cars in years that I didn't feel the need to mod for performance. Especially since we're traction limited coming out of the gate. So I focused on esthetics (truly a first for me). I now have the esthetics where I want them (except wheels, but that's sure to come), I wanted to start with a few playful mods. I was considering a cold air intake and exhaust. Specifically, the ones you have already installed. I'm back and forth between the Flowmaster axleback or a full catback from a competitor. Any thoughts or advice? My car is a daily, so I don't want to deal with any type of drone.

Juiced Motorsports has a couple packages that I think would go well with this budget.

I love the flowmaster, no drone and keeps npp. I have The A10 Trans so not sure of any gearing change from a m6 car will change anything as far as drone in a certain gear. I am a little concerned that when I add cat less headers that it will be way to loud, but I think if I run the with the valves closed it will be ok. Time will tell, but with the stock manifold the thing sounds wicked.
