Service Rear Axle - Cold Weather

Hey everyone,

I've been getting a "Service Rear Axle" message every once and a while on cold starts in sub 50 degree weather. Driveability hasn't changed at all, no dash lights or anything else to report. I've read about a low voltage issue that could be causing this but I'm not sure if it's ZL1 models only. Vehicle is a 2019 2SS 1LE with 30k miles. Very well maintained. Anyone know what I could be dealing with?

Thanks

Have you done a diff fluid change recently? I know when I did my first change and went and did a donut I got the message and I just assumed that it just needed a little more fluid. I've tracked the car since and havent gotten the message and its been sub 40 recently.
