0 to 155 mph Gt350R vs. Z28
I am hearing a lot of how the newer Ford V8 pulls better in the high end so I am wondering what do you guys think of this comparison, Z28 vs. Ford Gt350R 0 - 155 mph?

It also is like 250-300lbs less... GT350 would probably win

This low end vs high end (of the rpm range) still confuses me.
Around town really low end torque matters. It makes a car feel more responsive I'm sure. When you're beating the hell out of a car across its RPM range, a higher power band is beneficial. It's ridiculous what people will try to do to make an argument benefit their POV.

GT350 isn't meant to go 0-155. It's meant to go 50-155.

Despite that fact, if you're just looking at the numbers alone, eventually, the GT350 will pull up top.

I would expect the GT350 to run away with this one. Low end torque doesn't mean squat in this scenario. The Mustang has more power and less weight.

The 5.0 is a full 5 seconds faster than a Camaro SS to 150mph, which is embarrassing... It will likely be similar for the GT350 vs Z28.

no its a full 5 seconds faster then the 1LE package on the SS. and thats because it require 5th to be pulled and its not the smallest gear lol.

I've taken a ride in a couple z28's and the part that really surprised me and blew me away about the car was its top end pull so i doubt that statement is true.
