So first off, thank you for all the feedback on this form!!! I picked up the ZL1 today and I don’t know know what to say, it is so much more then expected!! The power, the sound and the handling are night and day from my SS, I can’t wait until spring....this car is phenomenal!!!

Beautiful car ! It's very easy to reliably up the power too if you grow accustomed to it and want more. The power surpasses even bolt ons muscle cars of back in the day. The handling and comfort is miles ahead too. Some of us owners don't plan to let go of our ZL1s. There are other fast and faster cars out there but this one has a good combo of looks reliability and affordability along with some uniqueness.
I've got a few more mods in mind for mine. |

I have been looking at the car in storage and discovered, I really don’t like the chrome lug nuts! What are the best lug nuts to replace in black gloss?
As always, thank you for your help! |

I wanted an all-black look as well, but was determined to keep my 2013 Z completely stock. I found a company that makes black plastic caps that simply push on over the stock lug nuts. I am extremely happy with the look. I have the vendor details filed away but I'll get the information to you if you're interested. PM me if so. Jim

I found that it only takes 1 repair and you win. Be careful with 3rd party warranties as they can find all kinds of ways to deny repairs.

I ended up having the dealership include a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty with the purchase of the car, it was after we agreed on the price, so they didn’t just add it in. CAN’T WAIT UNTIL NTIL SPRING!
