Camaro ordered..oh what will it be
Well, September 22, 2016 I ordered a Hyper Blue 1LT with V6, 6 speed manual. The car is slated to enter production on November 7. I have read that GM is introducing a 1LS model and that will be the model on which the manual will be standard and the 1LT will then have the A8 as standard. that will be the only difference. When I checked the Canadian build site Friday, there was no 1LS model listed but I could no longer configure the 1LT as I have ordered...the A8 was the only transmission choice (no charge) but the 2LT could still be configured with either transmission and the A8 was still the additional charge of $1800 or so on that model.
So I am assuming, but the dealer could not confirm, that my 1LT order will go into production as a 1LT and not as a 1LS....but I guess I will not know for sure until the car is delivered. in the end it won't really matter of course. |

Ask your dealer for a copy of the build sheet. If it doesn't have the A8 on it, I wouldn't worry about it, the factory may adjust the model to the 1LS, or it may still be a 1LT with the M6

Not worried just musing. The order sheet is 1LT with M6. In the end it does not matter. All I want is the V6 M6 and I am happy.
