Great deal? or white elephant?
I found a 2016 2ss dual mode, no MRC, with white stripes * which i like not love , it has ceramic white interior its 10K off msrp nothing in my area has that kind of sale except a yellow one..... how has the white leather faired for you? my first choice is red but saving a few K is always nice? I didn't mind no MRC on my C7... it sits at 36k.... good deal ? or stuck with it?

10k off sounds pretty good. If you don't like the stripes, you can have the dealer remove them as well.

I think anything under the $40,000 mark for a 2SS is getting really good ..... I'm in Phila and not too many dealers are budging on price,$36k for a 2SS seems very good but look out for the I do Not qualify disclaimers ....

I got 2 emails a week ago from a dealer near me offering 9K off of mrsp on 2ss's. My thought is a BIG SALE is coming...20% off with 1.79% for 72 months. That was what I bought my 2015 Silverado LTZ on.
Personally I HATE the white and think it will wear quickly...BUT you can buy black take off covers for $600. So go for it! |

i like the white stripes I'm worried about the white interior , jean stains etc how have you faired with white ceramic? the NON mag Ride is a bit of a bummer but its a great price.... the red interior with mRC near my house is not budging from 46

I was going to buy a 2017 Arctic Blue 1SS and those are in the $37,000 - $39,000 range and price negotiations weren't too exciting, dealers didn't seem to want to negotiate on price ... If you can really get a 2SS for $36k, I'd do it ...

I think $36,000 for a 2SS is a pretty good deal, if that is legit ...

True, I believe the 20% thing will be coming soon, since the 6th Gen is not selling well, hence the $1,000 off MSRP posted by GM last week ....

I remember Al O. commenting about the white interior wearing well and not staining up too bad in an old video around the release. I'm sure someone else heard it, too.
I think the stripes would look better if they stopped on the hood or top of front bumper cover. It goes down too far for my liking. Like someone else said you could have them removed. Also, 10k off has to be close to 20% off. Remember you don't have to finance thru the dealer. If you like it, get it. Good luck in your decision. |
