Front Grill Upgrade?

Ok I see some of the venders are selling the Painted Grills like on the SEMA cars and the 2017 Indy Edition. Does the whole front end have to be removed to change out the grill? I don't do any DIY stuff so I'm trying to figure what it's going to cost me to have one Installed. Might be cheaper to just have the area I need RED wrapped.???

Just keep in mind that not all are the same as the SEMA grille, if you compare the SEMA grill to some of the aftermarket options you may notice some differences

GM SEMA Red Accent Grille:

At least with a grille I saw being advertised here it's just the regular grille with part of it painted. That's still an improvement but personally I do prefer the SEMA grille.

From what I can tell, you will need to remove the front bumper to install the new grille, I can;t seem to see any quick easy way around it (I could be wrong). I am going to be buying the SEMA grille once I can find it

We might be able to remove the lower covers and reach in, but I doubt that as well.

Will be sure to share a video on how to install it.

If it's anything like the Gen 5, you have to remove the entire front clip.

Have you checked with your dealer?
I priced these out a month ago and they were available.

Can anyone point me in the direction on where to find the various colors GM offers for this replacement grille and part numbers? Not seeing this on their Camaro accessories page.

I have an RS but I'd like to change out the upper grille to the SS grille, anyone ever done this? If so, what is the level of difficulty?

OK,

So I just checked with Patrick with Cultrag (advertised on this site) and he tells me the optional GM grilles are not yet available, but put me on a list to be notified when they are.

Dang...and I thought they were available. GM needs to get going on this stuff!
