Went from shocked to having my mind blown

I've been stalking the two Chevy dealerships around here pretty much since October looking for a 1SS/2SS hyper blue with no luck.... Well I finally saw one today, for sale at our Dodge/Jeep dealership!

I was thinking to myself did some guy trade it in for a hellcat or something with a back seat, why would they do this? Could they not afford payments?

Well I parked behind the thing so I could take some pictures and not be attacked by a dealer (That's my red jeep in the background) and of course they approached me.

He tried giving me the trade-in spiel so I played along to get some info on the car. Now I cant decide how true the story is because this seems like a custom order with all the options it has...

The dealer tells me the guy bought the car new as an impulse buyer, cash for title (no loan). He then says you wont believe what the guy traded it in for and I guessed a hellcat...This is where my mind was blown. He traded it in for a bare-bones Dodge Dart

! I was so surprised and mind blown due to never seeing one and the rarity of this situation. Maybe the guy really needed a car and the cash difference.

Any who, if anyone is looking for a slightly used 2SS A8 with all the bells and whistles for about 3-4k less than what it would go for new I guess here is your chance.

I took pics of the car and the VIN# so I could figure out how old this car was.

Snow day! Crazy that some people have that kind of cash just laying around. Not surprised, but someone is going to get a deal and AI am willing to bet that dealer will come down on that price a bit more.

Price sounds a little high. I got my 2SS A8' NPP, MRC, Inferno Red interior, Mosaic Black paint,navi, low gloss black wheels, black bow ties for 44,800 new.

Ive seen this a lot, brand new stuff on lots 3weeks old, hundreds of reasons, some financial, some family driven. Plenty of bi polar people buying cars.....

I could be wrong!!! But I think that Shifter is handling a 6M tranny!!!! And, Its to much money!!!!

Yeah definitely too much money but its definitely an auto.

Price is too high with that type of miles. It should be a couple thousand less IMO. Mine was $43,000 and the only thing I don't have is the MRC and knee pads.

maybe there is something I'm missing, he tried telling me the msrp was 49 for the build

There is a 2SS with 540 miles close to me.. Traded in for Hellcat according to dealer.

Low ball em at 25k, then slowly come up to 30k, works every time.
