You will need to measure after the cam is installed. You could also have 7.400 (stock) and 7.425 on hand so there is no downtime if it turns out either of those will work. Perhaps people with similar mods and the night fury cam will post in here what pushrod length they used to give you an idea of what you could have on hand.

When I changed cams (custom grind) and heads (PRC 260) I asked what pushrod length was most used when using the new heads. I was told 7.500 so I bought a set to have on hand. That turned out to be the correct length I needed after measuring.

The company selling the you the cam should have some knowledge of what the most commonly used length for the cam is but you still need to measure.

ls3 with no modifications is 7.425. This has been confirmed by lethal for 99% of their builds.

from a pm

"Im 99% sure the 7.425 is the right ones. We use it in 99% of all the LS3's lol

You could go ahead and order the size they tell you but I would double check the size needed just to be sure.

I bought 7.4s from TSP just in case the 7.425s were too big, but the 7.425 were just perfect.

110% agree. Although most of the time the vendor will suggest a close estimate, to do it 100% right, you have to measure.

Back when I bought mine, they didnt even offer other sizes as an option. I just went on their website and now they have a bunch of good options. Good for them!

as Tracey stated, the proper way is to measure, but in the LS3 the 7.425" pushrods are what 99% of them use when only the cam is changed(NightFury). The L99 usually takes the 7.400.

Thanks for purchasing the NightFuRY CAM!

0.99*0.99=0.98 => 98% I'm no longer confident in this advice. /sarcasm
