Ported throttle body, pro charger and e85.
And a tune and maybe a cold air intake. But I’m not a mechanic, I only play one on tv. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Cost to upgrade to a ZL1 will be around $20k for same year/mileage typically due to crazy market conditions right now. You can spend around $6-8k on a supercharger and tune and be MORE HP than a ZL1 at the wheels. That's a much better bang for the buck.

What is a full ZL1 SC upgrade cost? is it 6-8K or 6-8K for just the SC? Do you have to do fuel upgrades?

And us ZL1 owners can spend that much and have even more hp!

I wish the Op good luck on deciding what direction to take with mods but ultimately it’s up to him to do what’s best for his Camaro. I would start with a Roto-Fab CAI and go from there.

No fuel upgrades necessary, but having the LT4 fuel system available would be ideal as you need to access that area anyway for the blower swap. LT4 supercharger conversion costs about $5,000 for the kit, add more for install and tune. ADM sells a conversion for $3000 but without a blower, so you would need to pick one up from a ZL1 owner who is upgrading.

LT2 IM with a Roofab dry. About 20 RWHP. Less than $1K. No tune required but still recommended.

Best horsepower gain for the money is nitrous, there is nothing else that will give you that much power for as cheap as it is. It won't mess with emissions and can be pulled off if you ever need warranty work.

You need a tune for nitrous. If they scan your car for warranty work and they see the flash counter has changed, they can void your powertrain warranty. It is best to go to a mod friendly dealer, always.

So you believe you can get by with 1 step colder spark plugs and like a lingenfelter timing retard box? Dyno, check and recheck air/fuel ratio and spark plugs?
