Max Effort 2650R
I know there are quite a few in here that don’t use other social platforms, so figured I’d share some results from a retune Vengeance Racing and Elite Tuned did on my car yesterday. The PB in my signature was ran on what we have known to be a conservative pulley setup, but we’ve been holding back the extra power as we conquer miscellaneous issues and get consistency in those areas. We are finally at that point, and really took time to dial in every bit of the 2650.
As a recap, the combo is a 427ci LT with max effort CID heads, dry sump conversion, ported 2650, Pure Drivetrain Solutions 10L90, Kooks/Vengeance Racing race headers, TooHighPSI port injection plates with Holley managing those injectors, etc… You can see the progression as they tuned it with the squiggly line being a full pull through 6th gear. I’d say focus less on the dyno number itself and more on the fact that the combo used for the car’s PB only made 1,317 RWHP on this dyno, so the gain is fairly significant. We built this setup for efficiency and to keep the 2650 rotor pack in it’s efficiency zone, so max power was at only 23 psi at 28k blower RPM. Here is a video of the multi gear pull. Blower rpm would be a better example of what it’s doing. 23psi through a 427 is A LOT. Sounds badass!

Yeah and you’re still doing it through the 10L90, a pd blower, and LT engine too. Go out there and nail down the top spot on the Fast 20 list!

Don’t know if I have enough to get Justin, but #2 is possible. I will be more than happy with that still being a 10 speed and blower.

Well, you just added another 150-200 WHP and the #1 run was made at 62 DA where yours was 1038. I think you’ve got a damn good chance!

My advice, based on racing a six-second car for years, is don't try to rotate the earth on the first run. Spend a day or two T&T sneaking up on it.

Definitely. We have the smooth boost on there now so we'll take it easy on the launch for a bit. Probably spend some time dialing in the 60 and only running it to the 1/8th.
