Went for the Hilton this time. See all of you in July!!

I had to go back and book an earlier arrival day due to Thursday's NCM track day but I was not able to get the discounted rate with the Hilton for Wednesday the 12th. Bummer.

That's good to know. I was planning on booking at the Hilton for the 12th through the 16th and was wondering if they applied the group rate to the night of the 12th. If the Holiday block is burned up I'll try the Marriott I reckon.

I'll check in with the Hilton about that and get back. I do know the Marriott is quite a bit higher like $149 per night.

I booked a room at the Hilton and if what I remember hearing is correct there's only one room left of the block.

Probably shoulda sucked it up and called the Holiday Inn Express and dealt with hauling around. I like the idea of being across the street from the host hotel though. Should I imbibe of adult beverage more than might be good for me, I can stumble across the street in the wee hours of the morning and....

Well looks like I'll be loitering in the host parking lot until I get to drive back to the $50/night Microtel down the road.....

Lots of folks will be doing that. It's a great spot to meet and hang out. No way we can fit everyone into a couple of hotels.

This event is shaping up to be the biggest fest ever.

We haven't got to the point where things suddenly come up. So far this fest is strong.

The Hilton would not give us the "CAMARO" rate said they never heard of it & the guy did not know what a Camaro is. Booked anyway at a higher rate if Holiday Inn opens up another block we will book with then we have stayed there before & it is NICE!!

Don't mean to sound stupid....did you call the correct Hilton? Maybe try asking for a front end manager...perhaps the guy you spoke with didn't get the memo.

I just got emailed a reservation confirmation from the Holiday Inn as well as charged what looks to be one nights' charge plus tax $130.43. Huzzah!
