I'm placing the camaro on the back burner as far as mods go until I get the mods on my motorcycle finished. after that I will start directing money towards the camaro. I figure it looks pretty damn good as it is right now anyway

Stacy, it really depends on how you define 'modify.' I stand by my caution that you can easily invalidate your insurance. But if you make the right mods in the right way, you can add value.

I'd be willing to bet that the average kid modifying their car ends up making it look like a boy racer car, thus lowering the value and potentially causing insurance issues.

Keeping my my 2010 Synergy mostly stock other than things that I can mod and change back to stock to retain value if sold down the road (It might be worth something one day it's 1 of 403/465 Manuals)ex: covered bow ties, wheels, air intake, engine cover, complete exhaust (no cutting!!)etc.

My second camaro may very well be a 2010 SGM manual. Hopeful they won't know what they have when they go to sell it in 2 years. I think a pair would be awesome!

Everything I do has to be able to be brought back to stock. With that being said I will absolutely be doing some mods bit they cannot include drilling or cutting, painting that will be done will be on an aftermarket part or alternate part.

well I'm currently in college and i can honestly say that when i graduate from college, i do want to keep my camaro. so with that being said i am currently modding my car and plan to continue modding to make my car unique and unforgettable. just reading some of this thread i already know that some of you will not agree with my post, but what can i say. I'm a tuner!! I became addicted the very first time i bought a mod for my old car!!

No need for mods yet..

Other than some door edge molding to protect from door dings and a locking gascap... Mine's still bone stock.

It looks awesome stock. But while I am doing the break in miles I am keeping an eye open for anything that jumps at me either aesthetically or ergonomically to add to my ride that I like better than stock. So far no luck.

I figure I should at least get my break in miles done before I consider making any performance or handling changes to it. Though if HP and top speed were of a primary concern to me... I would have gotten the V8.

stock for now besides window tint. Right now the warranty is in place and second off I think a lot of the aftermarket stuff is way over priced and choices are limited, give it a year or so. But I do have some ideas but anything I do will be reversable, just in case I dont like it and it keeps the value of the car

After my mods are done next month all the parts that are switched out I will retain just for future resale/trade sake. Only parts I hav'nt saved are the mufflers. Scotty and his crew disposed of those for me when I took delivery of the car.
