The SS is my daily driver so it's going to stay pretty much stock.

I kept my 99 z28 to play with!

I'm leaving mine mostly stock for now. Blacked out my bowties, might get gill decals. No particular reasons, other than time and money. I guess I just like my things simple and stock.

Yes, totally stock. It's worth more that way!

Power upgrades in a couple years...

Mine's a lifer, will not trade in, etc., mod depreciation is not an issue. But I do want to make it a little different from the rest of the 'school of sharks'.

Stock.
only add-ons are still "officially" GM-branded
Llyods SS mats
GM mudflaps (awesome)
GMPP exhaust (believe me, not bad at all - and i got a sweet deal, so it wasnt $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ - whew!)

i think the only "mod" i will do will be the cold air intake...

i like keeping things original as they were intended, but that doesnt mean mods are "wrong" - its personal. like going to a classic muscle car show,
first thing enthusiasts ask you - "is it stock"?

I'd like to keep mine stock as I bought the extended warranty, but I have done visual mods (vinyl overlays) My friend who has a 2004 Impala with the 3.8 wants me to mod my camaro, but I showed him the first week of ownership that I didn't mods to spank him, up to the speed limit of course.

I had a 06 2.2 cobalt and with an intake and full exhaust I barely edged him out on a few runs, so I'll keep some money and pay it off sooner and then enjoy, plus prices are a little much for me right now.

Visual mods only so far. RS embroidered headrests, blacked out bowties, gill decals, painted engine cover, etc.
I have thought about the CAI, axle back exhausts, maybe headers. But I dont care what you do to a V6, it just wont have that deep rumble of a V8. I have yet to hear a V6 exhaust that I thought was worth the cost involved.
So the odds are that I will leave it stock and trade up to an SS or hopefully a Z28 when I tire of the V6. So far I love the stock power of the V6 and am very happy.
