Going Forced Induction
Hi ladies/gents, the time has come, I will be supercharging my car within the next month... I have installed a few Edelbrock E-Force complete kits for customers at work, therefore this should be a fun project on my car.
Here's a list of the parts I have or will get for the build. Edelbrock E-Force tuner kit for automatic trans. ADM FPCM ID-850's ZL1 fuel pump SLP 1 3/4" headers, no cats Root-fab intake for E-Force JRE fuel line Mod JRE tune ZR1 3 Bar map sensor. I would like to run around 7-10 psi, I'm not entirely sure which pulley and belt I will need to run that much boost... I was thinking the 3.25" or the 3" pulley, my goal would be to sit around 500-560 RWHP, no meth with a conservative tune, is that number attainable with stock cam and heads?! Thanks everyone!

I have the eforce with stock size pulley, cold air, and moderate tune running 8 to 10 psi that gave me 531 rwhp... Great kit all around

probably the best driving kit there is but lacking power later on when growing!
Don't forget the AFCO dual pass and 2 nozzel meth kit.. a trunk mount or larger capacity reservoir would be a good idea to..

I was considering a Meth kit at some point with a re tune to benefit from it as much as I can... maybe get a couple extra HP but I would rather run it safe then yo yo my engine every time I get on it... I'm not looking for huge numbers I just want more pep in my step.
The fuel system is probably overkill for the set up and power goals that I have but if I want to grow a little bit, it's all there ready to go.

I think you will be at around 540 if you can get to 10 psi on boost. It will be a real strong 540 in the auto car.

If it was me I would go with the 17/8 on the headers,

I purchased these headers roughly 5-6 yrs ago when the Camaros first launched, they were the only ones readily available for me and I ended up getting a decent price on them because we were an SLP dealer at work. I see now that I could of defenitly benefited from a 1-7/8th header but I'm not spending that kind of money on headers when I already have some decent ones that will work fine for this build.
From what I've read though the forum the 3" pulley would be the 9-10lbs of boost pulley, if someone who runs that size pulley can confirm this that would be appreciated. I will be running the stock gears in the rear end (3.23 stock auto SS) if that's what your asking... I wouldn't mind going to something like a 3.45 (stock SS manual)if I got a complete diff to sway it out with... but I would stop at 3.70 ish, anything taller then that I find is too much in the automatic Camaros.

I'm running the eforce as well stock canned tune with there modded airbox. It ran 491 on a Mustang dyno.. I'm going to do a little update soon.
I have arh 1 7/8 with 3 inch back to npp with a roto fab intake. Just with that stuff you'll loose boost so to stay around 8-9 psi eldobrock recommended a 3" pulley. Now I going to do the pump and fpm along with ID850 injectors custom grind blower cam and custom tune. Should still be a good dd Good luck with your build Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I just bought a complete drop out cradle from a zl1 with 3:73 gear and not sure whether to use it or get a 3;23 ring and pinion.im running a 6l80 trans with a Procharger and 625 hp to the wheels and a few people are telling me it will do nothing but smoke the tires in 1st gear.has anyone changed gears in their Automatic car and launched in 2nd gear.the 2nd gear ratio is real close to 1st gear in 6speed manual.

I've had the Edelbrock E-Force S/C on my SS since 2010 and now have 37K miles on the S/C. I have the stock pulley and no cam on an LS3. See my mods below.
