Do I need spring spacers for supercharged car?

Hello,

Curious to know those who lowered their Camaros who have superchargers, did you buy the 1/2" spring spacer kit for the front to handle the extra weight or no? If not, did the front seem to sit too low or rub? Looking at the Hotchkis 1" kit right now...

Thanks!!

True, good point and I had too thought of that but just don't want too low. Like to get rid of wheel well gap but don't want a low rider. Plus my next step in tires for back will be 305s or 315s so don't want any rubbing issues. I've gotta guess that a 1.4" drop should still be safe no?

id stick with 1.25 in rear then if your going that wide, i think it can be done with 1.4 cause its really only 3/16" difference

I'm pretty positive I'm only going to do the 1" hotchkis set but just wanted to make sure it's not gonna be off in the front end without the $110 spacer kit they recommend on supercharged vehicles

DSE spring rates are higher, closer to the Z/28 rates. The handling is much better than with OE or other drop coils. They will carry the SC weight effortlessly. Send me a PM if you are interested.
