Run Flat has a screw

Last Thursday I found a screw in the R/R tire of my Stingray. Dealer says the run flats cannot be plugged. Any thoughts? Anybody plug a run flat?

Run flats by Michelin - like on the C7 can be plugged/patched ONE time.

yup...not a plug , but a patch is fine...dealers dont want to do it due to litigation...and selling a new tire..

Also, if patched, the tire loses its speed rating and should not be used at track events. Street use is okay.

I ended up buying a new tire and having the dealer install it.

With my C5, then my C6, I had probably five screw or nail punctures. I plugged each one, and never had any problem.

Of course if you REALLY want to buy a new tire...
