my clicking problem was traced to the DI pump's bolts backing out slightly, since I know I did torque them with locktight, I assume the pump clearance is too small. I added .005 and check it again. There are many threads on DI pump clearance. I was running a .022 shim and I needed a .017. which is actually too thin. I ended up going with a double steel gasket under the DI housing adding .0135 to pump height and using .035ish shim. FYI the shim included is .080 and the LS7 lash cap is .070.

So long story short, i had a bad tuner and when the new tuner threw my car on the dyno fixing those issues my car made 520... but to find out after we take it off the dyno the car wouldn't start.. Turns out the previous tuner never put in the cam phaser tables so that should of gained quite a bit of power. I should be higher then that now.

You could probably add a bit more timing up top and drop your AFR a bit.

I've worked with three tuners so far (not including myself). many do not use via tune the cam phaser even 6 degree ones. I'm on the fence. My cam has a 20 degree phaser and Tx Speed really likes using them..

Thanks to the Superflow 902 dyno, Texas Speed is the only company that currently offers a VVT camshaft with a phaser table included to properly tune the camshaft phaser once it's installed in your 2014+ Corvette!

I think your right oldman looks like people are now locking out the phaser at 0° or just flat out deleting vvt. LME deleted mine when I had my motor rebuilt and I'm only running TSPs stage 1 cam.

Get rid of the phaser on bigger cams that need more rpm. They will make more peak power. GPI posted results a while back on it. I believe the phaser fluctuates at high rpm.

THIS^

I currently have the TSP stage 3 cam. VVT locked out completely. A8 making 557WHP on E. VVT has no benefits for bigger cams.

Even Pray locks out all of his cams. Word to the wise.
