dont feel bad, a jeep dealer wanted to give me 21k for my 11 2lt rs which is MINT, won second place at a local car show and only has 6700 miles on it. i never laughed so hard in my life. there is not one chip or scratch on the entire car. i even asked him to point out any and he couldnt find a thing wrong with it.

meanwhile a local chevy dealer offered 26k trading up to an SS....that was tempting very tempting but i am in the middle of a career change so its not wise at the moment.

Just doesn't make sense to me. Either way, good luck OP, I hope you can get more than 23K on it!
When my parents got me the car 3 years ago gas wus cheap in Texas and my school wus just near.

Now that we moved to Oklahoma gas is more expensive and school is almost twice as far.

I don't wunna sell the car if its just up to me. But I feel bad for my parents spending loads of money just for my gas. That's the reason I might let it go.

Back to the point...OP they were going to try to make 5 grand off you. Buy for 23k...list for 32k...then they would get talked down 4k and make it seem like the the buyer is getting a good deal. When I bought my 2SS it was listed for 38k with 4k miles. I bought it in April this year for 30k.

Considering trading up to a ZL-1, dealer offered $24K...another $2K for my wheels. Deciding whether to just boost my SS instead.

seems like the baseline dealer offer for 2010 2SS is around 24k. This is valuable information. I wonder what the baseline on a 2011 2SS would be

27k is right in my price neighborhood but I would love to get closer to 24, meaning it would be excellent to spend 28 or so on a 2011 if possible

Last week I got 32K for my 2012 2SS just over 4k miles. Dont know if this helps. Also dealers dont like aftermarket parts on lower milage cars cause they cant certify it if it has them.

Just traded my 2SS for a ZL1 and its amazing! Im sure its been said before but you have to consider everything else you get in the ZL1 like MRC, Bigger brakes, cooling ducts for brakes, trans cooler, rear diff cooler, Aerodynamics(Front bumper/hood/spoiler/side rockers), Rims and tires, NPP exhaust oh and supercharger. If you price out how much it would cost to put just half of that in your car your prob better off just getting the ZL1 IMO.

Sell the mods separately and put the stock parts on if you have them. You will get more money that way.

God you're lucky. I think I should go that route.

Cool, how long ago did you move? Johnson County has really grown a lot depending on how long you've been gone!

Gas prices are decent here, usually below the average. The weather is just as bipolar as you remember, most likely

If you want to save gas just get a motorcycle. Gas is $5 here in CA and it only costs me $15-$17 bucks to fill up for the week.

BTW, last I checked Ninja 250's were going for sub 2k and those I believe get 70MPG. Better than even my 600RR.
