What are you guys running or suggesting. I am going through and changing all the fluids on the ride, wondering what you guys are running in the Manual Trans?
I did some searching and Royal Purple seems to pop up. I'm kinda between Royal Purple or GM stuff. Just wanted to gather your experineces with this. Thanks

Felt much smoother, so far been good. Otherwise I've heard the Royal Purple is good too!

Factory fill..AC Delco!
Makes a huge difference changing fluids after break in.
Don't forget the rear end fluid as well.

I did the differential fluid and the fluid that was in there looked really dirty after about 2k miles. I didn't do the transmission though, did you guys notice a difference replacing the stock fluid with fresh stock fluid?

I run Royal Purple and I track my car....no issues so far.

I was doing both trans and rear diff... Was going to stick with AC Delco on the rear but was looking closer at royal purple for the trans.

Anyone know the part number for the AC Delco stock manual transmission fluid?

I used Amsoil and it made the trans shift smooth.

I spoke with the Tremec tech rep at Autorama last week and he stated just make sure it's a full synthetic.

Absolutely...eliminated the resistance when up and down shifting. Highly recommend it!!

This website seems to have both Auto and Man Tans fluid. They should have the part number in the description. http://paceperformance.com/i-6239257...l-3-32-oz.html

As an update on this subject, I gave Royal Purple a call getting a few details on their trans fluid, decided to ask the tech while I had him on the phone about the rear end fluid. Apparently Royal Purple already has the additive needed for our Limited Slip added to the fluid already. I didn't know this ha, maybe some already knew but either way I'm going Royal Purple for both trans and Rear. I will update on this after I change everything out.
