54, First car was a $400 Mercury Monterey with a 429 BB, had to buy a new tire every week, it was 10 years old and would do over 120 in a heartbeat, I got a 2010 2SS Camaro at age 49. I got #822 Ashen Gray Z/28 11/30/15, It will be a road course car, I kept the 2010 and it will be my drag car, Kids are gone and I traded the X in for a more economical model who has her own money, but loves to drive the SS.

First American car Most recently built and raced a Mitsubishi Evo IX for a few years Figured that if I'm going to invest $$ in a "race car" I'd let the pro's handle 90% of it out of the box...additional cooling and a solid 4 point roll bar and have at it! If I decide to go all mental and race with NASA again, all I have to do is strip it and cage it and like any other race car, hope it doesn't blow up! |

Question way back , how old and age of kids.
Kids are Daughter 48, Son 46, Grandkids 30, 27, 14, Great grand kids 4 & 2. Cars new 64 XL Vert 427 2/4's, 67 Mustang GT Vert, 390, yes I was young and foolish. Next 70 SS/LS 6 454,young and foolish relapse 72 429 LTD, many bummer's in mid 70's, 79 Vette was weak until bump to 450 HP, more SUV's for DD. 1992 Z/28, 1993 Buick Park Ave Supercharged,1995 Pontiac SSI Supercharged. Then in 2000 # match 45,000mi 68 Z/28 still have. More SUV's DD, 2009 Pontiac G8/GT with many mods still have, Brides ride. 2011 Camaro RS/SS Vert with many mods still have. 2013 GMC Crew Cab Denali still have. My Bride, Kids, Grandkids have driven many of these cars not all. Over our life time we have owned many cars, SUV's and pickups. We are not wealthy people. We are hard working American's, Our children, grandkids are the same and have their own performance cars. Anyone reading this can do the same. Honest Hard work and vision, we all can do it. Over 51 years we have had fun & don't plan on stopping anytime soon. And the question I'm 72
