HUD option

Am i correct that HUD is only avail in 2SS & up and not add on in the other packages?
I looked at configurator and it seems that way unless i may be doing it incorrect.
Thanks.

Yes and no. HUD is standard on 2SS, ZL1s and also on the 1SS 1LE as part of the 1LE package. I don't believe it is available as an option on any other models.

Looks as if HUD is also standard on the 3LT too. I thought OP was looking at SS trim, but I may have misunderstood whether that his the case.

Hey guys thanks for the help & info,
At first i was configuring a LT1 but i saw no HUD, then i scrolled through the standard & option list on chevy .com website and saw it avail 1LE but a $7G option that I'm not interested in.
Then saw it listed with 2SS, (but i missed the 3LT), i was hoping it was a standalone with the lesser priced packages but i guess not, so I'll look and see what more i would be getting in the 3lt vs LT1 and if its worth the extra $ to me.

The thing about the Camaro there are lots of possibilities. Really depends on your budget and your preferences. Comfort versus performance, or both. For me the 1LE is a bargain, but it's not everyone's thing.

Yea looking at it now with the 3lt there's no V8 choice
So to get the V8 & HUD it pushes me into the 2SS it appears, and a $10,000 higher base price diff. $37,185 vs $47,590 gotta think about that.

I had a 2018 2LT (its contents were equivalent to the 3LT of today, including the HUD), and while it was a very good car, I traded it for a 2018 2SS and never looked back, not even for a second. That's all you need to know and all I will say, not trying to start yet another debate.

Thanks for your input, i may forgo the HUD and stick with the LT1, I'm comparing both.

If you want a V8 the LT1 is a good choice for those who aren't looking to spend SS money, but you have to be careful not to add too many options or you are in SS territory. Of course a HUD is not available on the LT1.

I was about performance that's why I went with a 1SS 1LE. And you get the HUD, even though it's a 1SS, with the 1LE. And for about the same money as a base 2SS. My car is a weekend vehicle so I didn't care about having the 2SS comfort features.
