The dealer I ordered from told me yesterday that their GM Rep told them there is a 0.0% chance they will get ANY Camaro allocation. I simply told them leave the order alone and lets see what happens. Anyway, that at least takes away all my motivation to seriously try to move my RGM.

Between the shortened production year for the '24 and then GM saying earlier this week they were cutting production (overall, not just of the Camaro) due to the railcar shortage, I think getting a desirable '24 is going to be even more challenging than it was looking originally.

I'm so curious about how they know or they don't know? Mine still says he's confident they will get one within a few rounds. I have no idea if I should trust that?? Not that I don't trust THEM, I just want to know how they really know?

They're owned by my in-laws. My brother in law said he's begged and pleaded with his rep but the rep said since they are a small community dealer, they dont have the pull to get an allocation. I also bought my current ZL1-1LE through them.

The 2024 Camaro is a parts bin swapatuli that may or may not in be configurable as it was for the 2023 MY.

I could not order the forged wheels or front splitter on my '23 2SS in April either.
So they are still not getting any or enough from the supplier months later.

Placed an order in April for a 23 2SS 1LE never got picked up. So had to reorder for 2024 and checked status on 6/29 and says order accepted by GM moving forward to production. Hopefully all turns out well.

My dealer is still awaiting an allocation for my 24 ZL1 They feel pretty good about getting one as they are a good size dealer and sell good amount of camaros. It took awhile last year to get allocation on my 23 ZL1 Worst case I'll enjoy my 23!

Mine says preliminary order accepted on 06/15, but they still didn't get allocation. :(

Got a call from my dealer yesterday. They got an allocation and my order was accepted. No build date as of yet. Since the "official" 2024 production will not start until a week and a half into August, just gonna have to wait.
With any luck, it won't sit too long in some lot at the plant or elsewhere waiting for transport.
(Red Hot 2SS Vert, 6spd, Dual mode, red calipers, adrenaline red gut.)

Put in order for 24 Zl1 on 6/15 didn’t get lucky on first round. I only put it in with one pretty big dealer who I purchased my 23 Tahoe last year from and they agreed to sell at MSRP and waive the $1,500 mark up because I just purchased my truck but they were actually taking delivery a 23 Zl1 order for someone else so I’m hoping the fact that they were getting zl1s for the 23 model year is a good thing!

I talked to a high volume dealer today who said they can get me an allocation. They explained the whole sell one get one as the allocation process which is why they're supposed to be able to get the allocations while my families small dealership cannot. They took my name and number and are supposed to call me when they get another allocation. $500 over sticker is what they quoted me.
