Taking it to the country roads this Saturday, should be fun...

So a couple of us are going to run the back country roads up by Brenham, Texas tomorrow. Never really thought about doing this with the ZL1, but I have ridden the motorcycle many times out there.

Lots of curves and open roads. There will be a small group of us running.

Anyone else do these kind of weekend runs in their cars? Any advise, tips, or cautions?

Thanks!

Also, if anyone in the Houston area wants to join us, PM me for details. Going to be an early run, should be tearing up asphalt around 8:30-9am

Last run was fun and we are doing it again this Sunday.

As before, I'll be driving from Houston, up to Brenham... if anyone wants to join, hit me up!

Lots of high end cars rolling with us, so bring out your curve capable car/truck!

We are changing the start times to accommodate the 'hard working' folk who would like to sleep in a little on their Sundays.

If you'd like to eat breakfast, we are still meeting at Coles Crossing in Cypress at 8:30AM. We plan to leave there by 9:45AM to make it to the P66 gas station by 11:00AM.

We will have a safety moment and discuss driving expectations and levels of road experience, each persons holds. Then hand out walkie talkies and hopefully start by 11AM.

Again, here are the addresses:

8:30AM Breakfast Meet

Coles Crossing Breakfast House

24140 Northwest Fwy, Cypress, TX 77429

10:30AM Pre-Fun Run Meet & Starting Point

Phillips 66 Gas Station

4185 Hwy 36 North in Brenham, TX 77833[/QUOTE]

If you have the youtube app on your smart phone, here's an unedited 360 degree video from inside the Ford Lightning. Again, long video here.
