Just saw this on my local news
Two General Motors plants 90 miles apart will be utilized to build the newest incarnation of the Chevrolet Corvette sports car. The vehicle is assembled at the GM plant in Bowling Green, KY. For the first time, some body components will be manufactured at the carmaker's plant in Spring Hill, TN. Both plants are near Interstate 65. The Spring Hill plant is about 30 miles southwest of Nashville. Spring Hill plant spokeswoman Lee Ann Williams-Maley said the plant will mold the front and rear facias for the Corvette - essentially the front and rear bumpers. The Spring Hill plant was built to make the Saturn auto brand, which has been discontinued.

Spring Hill has more than enough capacity. All they're building in terms of cars is Equinox overflow at this point.

Pricing has not been announced yet but they did say at the intro if you could afford a C6 you will be able to afford a C7.
