I think the current Escalade looks better than the Navigator as far as the exterior is concerned and there is nothing on the road like seeing the front end of the Escalade.
I love what Cadillac has done with their front fascia, starting with the CT6 / XT4. Looks just as good on XT6 and Escalade.

2021 Escalade leaked from GM Arlington Assembly.
Well, to be honest I really can't tell how good the Escalade looks from the camouflage. The body updates from Tahoe and Suburban are good, however.

Cadillac is transitioning back to actual names with the rollout of its EVs.

Been waiting for that since they got rid of that guy that thought up all of those stupid designations. He did the same thing at Infiniti.

JdN seemed like a pretty good product guy, not so much a marketing guy.

True, but he made the move towards all cars being CT-something and all utilities being XT-something.

GM President Mark Reuss making a “major announcement” today at the Wentzville plant. Not sure what it is. Wentzville builds Canyon / Colorado and Express / Savanna.

I'm waiting to hear this also. Seems to me that it would have to be something bigger than "yep, we are still going to build them trucks here" if the GM president and Missouri Governor are going to be there. Maybe not. I can't think of anything else they might build there unless they were going to expand.

Month's ago it was big news that GM was going to invest some big money into the plant, so I know this is a continuation of that prior announcement.

In concept, it isn't a bad way to make it clear what is what like the Germans do. You know an X1, X3, X5, Q3, Q5, etc are crossovers. You know 3 series, C Class, A3, A5, etc are cars. That is what JDN tried to do.

I much prefer names myself, but if you are going to do alphanumeric naming structure, do it in a way that clearly tells you what is what. Issue with Cadillac is they didn't do this from the get go and their models already had name cache, etc so it was a bit too late to fix it....

But at least XT-Something CT-Something isn't as stupid as putting the torque in nm on the back instead of the size of the engine.....

I swear cadillac is doing this to just to mess with me lol. Like do they have any idea what is going on there

First need to get rid of ATS, CTS and change them to CT#s then get rid of SRX for XT# then bastardize the V badge then add the torque nm to the back and now decided to go back to names....

I know lincoln did it to, but they stuck with the same lettered code at least for the years they did it.
