What were people getting for their trade in of their Camaro? I am worried about getting bent over on the trade so I may try a private sale first.
I was only given a little over 17K. I had a 2010 SS with 73,XXX miles on it.

I got $20K for my '10 2SS/non-RS w/43,000 miles and a minor accident on it. I had a lot of after market stuff on it and got a below fair deal I think. Dealership sold the car in two days.

I got $16,500 plus a $1000 sales tax credit for my 2010 Camaro 1LS. It was an automatic with exactly 27,000 miles. Also, it had a bad stone bruise in the windshield right in front of the driver and a $700 parking lot dent that I never got fixed.

Wow... I sorta feel like some of those numbers are pretty low. However, that seems to be the way life goes when you trade something in. I think I will try to sell it first and see what I can get. I feel I will get a much better deal that way (as usual).

Thanks for all of the replies, folks!
