That is a great video. Randy seems to ring the utter most out of any car he drives. It seems as though he granny shifts compared to some of the Camaro6 drivers videos. But, you can't argue with success. If he doesn't make tons of money, at least he drives some of the world's finest track cars.

Cool video. Maybe it was my speakers, but the exhaust didn't sound all that great in that video.
Or maybe I am just used to my Corsa system now and am tainted. lol

I didn't get to talk to Randy personally but watching him rip around Laguna Seca in the pre-production 1LE and then standing on the pit wall as he tore past at full blast definitely sealed my fate lol

Randy's review from Laguna paid a big role in my decision. Wish this was out sooner

He's always praised the 1le as the sweetest driving Camaro. Been a big Randy fan for years and his opinion definitely influenced my purchase along with how mean the car looks.

Got to meet Randy in person at Nat's this year, very nice guy!
His thoughts on the 1LE also put me over the edge on buying one

I’m yet another of the many who bought mine (sight unseen - no test drive) thanks to Randy’s comments and praise for the car after his hot lap at Laguna Seca. I have no regrets! I find the car to have phenomenal performance and tremendous value. Also, I agree, I find the SS 1LE to be so well-balanced that I resist any temptations (at least for now) to mess (upgrade) anything so as not to upset the balance. I do very much recognize and appreciate Al and Team Camaro for all of the time, money, and engineering that went into producing this beast. I don’t think I could be happier. I have done many track days with it thus far and I know I have yet to reach this cars full potential in stock form (I’m bench-marking off if others, namely JP Daugherty, an avid racer. Until I can manage (or dare) achieve his level with a stock SS 1LE, I cant justify to myself spending money on performance upgrades. As for the Goodyear Eagle Supercar 3’s, so impressed am I with them (grip, wear, and value) that I’m sticking with them (replaces at about 12,500 miles use, which included 5 track days, 1 auto-cross, and decent amount of spirited mountain runs.

I wish that GY would manufacture the 3s in ZLE sizes. No doubt 3s would be my tire setup choice for street, better wear characteristics without a significant drop off in grip.
IMHO a better choice than MP4S and others for street, as 3s and 3Rs were specifically engineered for Camaro.

The ss 1le ran a 1:20.67, i guess my pc at work for some reason blocks the fast lap times website.
Anyways, how does this time compare with the competition?
